The Motorcycle Helmet You Want May Not Be As Safe As You Think!
Choosing the right motorcycle helmet can make a difference. . literally between life and death. But how a regular guy in the street, take an informed decision about the type of helmets provide better protection? There are so many brands, models and styles. Not to mention DOT approved, approved Snell, adopted charge! It is enough to make you go Goggle eyes when faced with such information. Tests have shown that it is quite possible to suffer a fatal injury cases, a stationary bike in the case now head unprotected in the kerb, so clearly the right to choose a helmet is important. But what? Would not it be easier if someone just said, to see when you're in an accident, the need to protect this part of the head, because this is the part that is most likely to s' worse? Well, that's what I wanted to say. But it was not so easy. The type of information you need to do this kind of call requires someone, somewhere to see a large number of motorcycle accidents, motorcycle helmet to see the damage, to assess whether the point of impact took place and to make information in a way that allows motorcyclists county (you and me) to decide for themselves. But the good news is that if you look hard enough, information is available. A study was carried out for a few years ago by Deitmar OTTE, Medizinsche Hochschule in Hanover, Germany, damage to the helmets used by motorcyclists involved in accidents. His analysis is very detailed, actually, a lot for me to go into details here, but it is extremely important. What I want to do is to say a word, what parts of your head is more likely to be injured in a motorcycle accident on the basis of their findings Mr Otte. The rest depends on you? Take a motorcycle helmet and look right. Now imagine that is divided into three sections, the top (the skull) centre (the area is most likely covered by the screen) and bottom (in a helmet, this will be the chin guard). If you have been involved in a motorcycle accident, and he hit his head which would have a 35% chance that the impact is happening in their region chin, 10% of their area screen, and 22 % Chance that the impact occurs in his skull frontal zone. Now, turning the hull. Regarding what the rear, divided in two by half. In an accident, if it hits the head, you have a 16% chance of impact occurs on the back of the head to the left, and 17% chance of influence goes in the right rear side . Conclusion? Well, this is only my personal conclusion, but let me say this? The helmets are more secure full-face helmets? Others are three-quarters of helmets with the screen? The third would be a half-helmets? Then it would be helmets. There are many reasons why people wear a helmet. However, if security is the primary consideration, and then take a good look at the full helmets on the market, take time to find one that you can use each trip comfortably.
